Essy the duck that thinks its a dog.
Is called Essy and it is not a normal duck, it moves its tail like a dog, tries to bark as a dog and competes with its two companions, two dogs crossed a Staffordshire, Essy thinks that it is a dog.
The nine months of age, the duck already could see itself walking by the streets of Bournemouth, in Dorset. Their proprietors Steph and Tony Tufft, rescued Essy of a farm when he only had eight weeks. Tufft, a constructor of boats, has said whenever its mascot unusual and amusing for the rest of the people, on everything when they see that not only it takes a walk with strap with his dogs, but also that behaves like them.
“We are known in all Charminster, people comes from all sides to know it. It enchants to them. Essy not knows that it is a duck, must think that is a dog, since when she sees other dogs is going to smell, like a dog would do, which wakes up the disagreement of people and the own dogs that do not know how to act. I have had to buy its own strap to him by its security and because sometimes people watched me as if she was robbing or kidnapping the duck” Tony expressed.
Its Steph wife, I add: “It is as if Brad Pitt was walking by the street with strap, everybody would watch to you”.
Both dogs companions of Essy, Rashka of two years of age and DD of four, protect Essy like one more of the herd, walk next to her to each side, so is their friendship. That Essy has a special place to sleep, always it wants to sleep with his two canine friends together.
“We go take a walk every day with the dogs. Essy has its necklace, its strap, and even a reflecting vest. The dogs even walk to Essy’s pace” expressed Mrs. Steph.
Essy has its own record and is registered as a company animal, and within very little it will return to Tenerife, where Steph has lived for more than a year.>
