The true function of the bone and dogs

Doubt does not fit that the bone has been a symbol of the dog. We could speak of the bone as a synonymous of dog, they are inseparable. But, to what extent is healthful the bone for my dog? The bone, or natural or artificial represents diversion for the dog, since it is puppy until it arrives at the adult stage. The dog can spend hours and hours chewing it without becoming bored.
Reduce Tear Stains in Yorkshire Terriers

Although it is natural for most Yorkshire terriers to have a bit of tearing from their eyes, if it is extreme, the result is not only unattractive but also uncomfortable for the dog. There are ways to minimize tear stains making the Yorkie look and feel better. When your Yorkshire terrier’s eyes tear too much, the resulting damp hair under its eyes becomes a prime breeding ground for yeast and bacterial growth.

Animal Rights versus Human Rights

The San Francisco Chronicle published an article complaining that America seems to be more intersted in animal rights than the rights of African Americans, in light of the recent 23 month prison sentence for Michael Vick.
Here’s an interesting quote from the article…
In American culture, ethnic groups external to African Americans appear to have become more upset over dog fighting than African Americans are. If we were to look at animal welfare rights versus the rights of African Americans, one might conclude the welfare of animals gets more attention in some circles than the welfare of black people in this country. There are more groups fighting for the rights of animals than for the rights of African Americans.
