The author of a violation to a mare and a man who threw to the sweepings to seven puppies of dog is the protagonists of the black chronicle during these days. First already he has been judged, the second, at the moment, stopped.
The Penal court nº 2 of Mataró to the condemned to five months from prison to Jose Maria H.F., accused to attack of brutal form a mare, after entering masía illegally in which the animal lived. The mare presented/displayed wounds in the anus, the face and the legs. First, according to the veterinarian, it had to a manipulation with sexual or sadistic aims.
According to it has considers the judge, the defendant had intention to cause “gratuitous pain” and “to increase the suffering of the animal”, since it struck to him repeatedly in the head, causing to him serious hurt in the eye and the lip. In addition, to immobilize the mare, it tied of the four legs, causing to him the loss of the sanguineous circulation.
The facts the past happened the night of 2 of March and, although the defendant assures that the wounds were caused by another horse when it tried to mount to the mare, the judge has not given credit to this version. The animal still has sequels by the caused injuries.

The other case took place this same week in the Orotava (Tenerife). A man of 74 years has been accused to throw to the sweepings a stock market that contained 7 puppies of dog, five of them already passed away. A person who had been present at the facts warned the Headquarters of Local Police by telephone.
When the representatives of the authority appeared in the place, they could verify the existence of the animal and that the five dead puppies presented/displayed marks of blows in their bodies. Both that still remained with life they were transferred to the veterinarian for its recovery. After beginning the opportune diligences, the acts were informed of the guard court.
